Our Most Common Questions On Free ECO4 Funding
Still not sure? Just review some of the most common questions we receive from home owners just like you.
How does the ECO4 funding work?
ECO4 is the 4th part of the Government-funded ECO scheme, The government’s response to the Energy Company Obligation (ECO4) consultation sets out the policy of the scheme from April 2022 until March 2026. The government allocated £4 billion to the scheme and provides a range of energy efficiency measures to homes in Great Britain.
Do I need to own the home to qualify?
If you’re a homeowner who meets the qualifying criteria set by the government you can claim a free boiler grant and get your brand new A-rated boiler installed in as little as 14 days. If you are a Private Tenant and don’t have a boiler installed before you may qualify for first time central heating grant.
How do I qualify for a free boiler grant?
We help homeowners to access home efficiency FREE Boiler Grants. If you receive one of the 9 government benefits (this includes Child benefit) and own your home you will be eligible (subject to free home assessment)
Do I need to get a new boiler?
If your boiler is installed before 2003, the likelihood is, that you have an inefficient non-condensing boiler. This could be costing you more in heating bills than you might realise, so if it’s true then it could be worthwhile to replace your old boiler with a modern A-rated energy efficient boiler under Government Funded ECO4 scheme for FREE.
What happens after boiler installation?
Switching to a new A-rated boiler won’t have much effect on how you use it, but the savings you’ll make on your gas bills are significant.
We may provide new heating controls if your old one does not meet the current energy efficiency standards, but don’t worry, our installer will show you how to use them in a way that saves time and energy!
What geographical areas do you cover?
How do I know if I qualify?
If you fill out our contact form on the website we can tell you if you qualify. Then a full no obligation survey and energy assessment will be carried out free of charge to highlight what is available for you.
