Where ECO funding comes from?
The government has targets to hit. These targets include reducing the UK’s carbon footprint and also cutting fuel poverty by 2050. One of the ways they’re doing this is through the ECO or Energy Company Obligation scheme. It’s called that because the big energy companies have targets to hit too. The scheme is a collaboration between the government and the six biggest energy companies in the UK.
Everyone in the UK pays a small percentage extra on their energy bills, and this money is used to fund free heaters, boilers and insulation. These grants enable properties to become better insulated with more energy efficient heating and hot water systems, so the UK as a whole can achieve its new target.
Energy Grants are non-repayable, this means you do not have to pay any money back at any time. There are no complicated terms and conditions. If you qualify for a grant, you can have energy saving measures installed by us. The amount of funding you get is determined by the size and efficiency of your home, so a no obligation survey and energy assessment will be carried out free of charge for you at your home, at a time that suits you. Please submit your enquiry through our webform or contact our friendly team on firstname.lastname@example.org to see how we can help you save money on your energy bills and you can help us save the planet.
